  • One known cause is rubella (german measles) infections in pregnant mothers. Vaccines, in particular the MMR, actually prevent autism.

  • "There is a TON of evidence to support both sides." Seriously, there isn't much evidence to indicate that vaccines cause autism. When the vaccine court heard the "experts" describe how vaccine cause autism, it wasn't even close.

  • actually, there is a didproprtionate number of "yes" votes. I voted no. I am the parent of an autistic child. I have done the research. the science just doesn't support the link.

  • "No cases, back to 1998, are considered to be compensating autism." Should read 1988, not 1998. Throughout the entire program, no case of vaccines causing autism is considered to be made--by the government itself.

  • Dr. Mayer Eisenstein's practice is an excellent example of coincidence rather than causation. You could say the same thing about any population with the shared characteristic of "ZERO cases of autism." It might be a fact, but it's not evidence, and it doesn't prove anything
